The choir participated in the celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the community centre "Buddina-1982" in the concert hall of the 144th Sofia High School "Narodni Buditeli".

Choir "Sofia" was awarded by the Union of community centres for High Achievements in Vocal Art.

Female folklore choir Sofia participates in XXVI. International Competition and Folklore, Dance and Music Festival PRAGUE STARS 2017, Prague, Czech Republic. The choir won second place in the choral contest in category Vocal Art, Choirs.

The project "Promotion of the beauty of the Bulgarian folk song from Female Folklore Choir "Sofia", part of community centre "Buddina-1982" at the XXVI. International Competition and Folklore, Dance and Music Festival PRAGUE STARS 2017 in Czech Republic, Prague is realized with the financial support of the Program for cultural contacts - "Mobility" of the National Culture Fund.

On the Day of leaders of the Bulgarian National the Choir performed at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Prague, Czech Republic. To the attention of the Bulgarian and Czech audiences there was presented the Moravian song "Teče voda teče"

Female folklore choir Sofia participated in the celebration of the day of Sofia in the Mladost district.

Second concert of choir Sofia on the open stage in Borisov garden, dedicated to the day of Sofia. The folk ensemble "Yastra" also participated in the event.

On the open stage in the Borisov garden took place the first independent concert of the Female Folklore Choir Sofia . The concert was part of the summer cultural program of the Municipality of Sofia for 2017.

Choir Sofia took part in the national folklore festival "Nasred megdana v Arbanassi" 2017, where won third prize in the category "Processed folklore".

Participation of Female Folklore Choir Sofia in an official celebration of the Mladost district administration on May 24th in Terra Hall.

Choir Sofia participated in the official opening of the exhibition "Books, Directions, Audiences" at the National Library St. Cyril and Methodius.
